Architectural design - what the sheep needs?

The building is located in the protected area Beskydy, in the area of Santa. Strongly dominates the natural landscape, where urbanism is in the form of free-standing solitary or several clusters of houses. The parcel is located near the junction of roads.

The main task is to create energy-efficient, environmentally conscious building, which was not only architecturally but is also associated with its use of space in which it is mounted.

Determinants are clear - simple construction, a volume for maximum energy efficiency and the lowest ratio of circumference and volume. And the question is - how?
The solution we came directly for the client - the sheep themselves. sheep would have done if they were so lazy that they did not want fire, walk on water and could only be so passive? This would probably like to shed their dark illuminates - turning down the hill to maintain the original archetypal shape, but there is a huge area for lighting, collectors and photovoltaic cells. In the act, however, is bound to become something else - shed built on a slope, so it would be rolling off down to the road. Under this impact, dive into one end of the earth, but it does not matter at all in the second corner of the sheep may be a surplus of terrace may have parade views.

The building is negotiable, because it accesses two leading communications, serves the eastern visitors, there are parking for 4 cars. The second communication is for employees, which is handling the outdoor space to store hay and midden. This way the tractor can smoothly pass the land and should not dodge.

On the first floor there are pens for sheep 3x (10x14m), plus a stall for a ram, goat, and the birth box stall for the sick sheep. The floor is also a tool storage and control room equipment.
On the second floor staircase bracket to act in the eastern part. He performs in an area restaurant and bar. In the southern part of the floor located facilities - kitchen, store, toilets and temporary accommodation with daily room.

Construction

The construction is based on reinforced concrete tub mounted in the non-freezing depth of 2700 mm. Supporting structure is a frame of laminated beams in module 4500 mm, cross-bracing and diagonal timbers. The construction is considered the longitudinal direction to the west. The structural height of the second floor is 3500 mm, it is carried by six wooden pillars in the module 4500 mm. Single-staircase is suspended from curved steel plate 12 mm thick, 2000 mm width.

Casing is a sandwich, folded sheets of OSB, antisteam liner, insulated with mineral wool 200 mm thick and hydroisolation. Suspended wooden plate is facing the ventilation space, which is milled into ornaments. For the roof system is used SODD - wooden blocks filled with wool ,coated with waterproofing rubber in the size 1200x1200 mm.
